These drawings and models represent an interactive sculptural installation that will play with notions of space and invite the viewer inside the sculpture. The motorized sculpture will rotate around the visitor, providing a unique viewing experience. Two sculpted spirals spinning in tandem evoke comforting arms that surround the visitor in a warm, cozy embrace. Enveloped in a cocooning aura, one feels safe as the molded coils evoke comforting memories of the protective embrace of a loved one.
